At HeartArtConnection, my philosophy blends mental health counseling with ancient wisdom practices, guiding you on a journey of re-connecting with your true self and collective consciousness.
My passion is to create a space where we can help you slow down, quiet the noise of the outside world, survival, and conditioning so as to hear and connect with your own inner wisdom, divine messages and visions to clarify your path forward. My goal is to help you foster a connection with your authentic self and tap into something greater such as collective consciousness and wisdom for a renewed sense of clarity, confidence and inspiration to bring back to your everyday life.
Therapeutic Modalities
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Internal Family Systems, developed by Dick Schwartz, Ph.D., views the mind as composed of different parts, each with its own function, with the core being our capital-S Self—our Highest Self or Authentic Self. I work with you to enhance your self-awareness and help you recognize the parts of yourself that influence your actions and goals. Through guided mindfulness and compassionate support, we explore these aspects together and connect with the quiet wisdom within. By integrating these parts, you develop greater self-compassion and a deeper connection to your true self.
Expressive Arts Therapy
Expressive Arts Therapy is a key pillar of my work. It’s based on the belief that creative outlets for self-expression are our birthright and integral to living a healthy life. Whether it’s sound, music, visual art, movement, or poetry, these forms of expression are natural parts of being human, and adults benefit greatly from reconnecting with them. Creative self-expression allows you to process and release emotion, tap into your instincts, and tune in to something greater, including the subconscious and collective consciousness.
somatic therapy
Somatic Therapy focuses on the body’s wisdom as a foundation for healing and recovery. My practice blends tools and insight from the somatic philosophy, primarily that the body holds memories from our lifetimes, and hence holds valuable wisdom and information. When attuned to, it can provide us with insight and relief from emotions stored in our subconscious, held in our mind, but also our bodies. Somatic Therapy, much like the other therapies listed, holds the vision of helping us return more fully to ourselves, our bodies and the present and out of survival states that keep us disconnected or on autopilot.
mindfulness
I see mindfulness as an integral tool for all of the work. A practice of holding an awareness with objectivity so that we can expand our capacity with all that rises and falls within us, also helping us learn to slow down and internalize safety in the present and with ourselves. Mindfulness is a tool I weave into my sessions with clients, as the foundation we can return to again and again.

In addition to parts work, mindfulness, creative arts therapies and connecting with the body, my Creative Soul Sessions and Psychedelic Integration offerings also incorporate spiritual practices to provide you with a holistic and creative experience. Some of the tools integrated in these offerings include journeying, ritual, creative self-expression and sound, tailored to your needs and goals. My approach blends ancient wisdom and evidence-based tools to help you shift out of stuck points and reconnect with your inner wisdom—your true North.
